Nirvana's 2016 Summer cruise to the Delta
For the July 4th weekend and week, Nirvana sailed up the San Joaquin river to Willow Berm marina on the Mokelumne River. The wind was strong, the sun hot and the water smooth.
It's down wind all the way, and a beat back, but it you time it right with the tides, the sailing is great both ways.
Master Mariners 2016

Delta Cruise 2015
Nirvana sailed up the San Francisco delta along the San Joaquin to the confluence of the Mokelumne River.
A broken boom added to the adventure and kept her at the marina for repairs, but didn't dampen our enjoyment.
Sailing About in 2015
Nirvana is sailed regularly about San Francisco Bay, chasing sunsets, moonrises, and anchoring overnight to take in all that the Bay has to offer.
She is a member, and actively participates in Master Mariner's Association events such as the annual Wooden Boat Show.
